La Fiscalía ha considerado que Josep Lluís Trapero, mayor de los Mossos d’Esquadra, fue una «pieza clave» en el proceso de independencia de Catalunya. En su participación, los fiscales aprecian delito de rebelión, por lo que piden una pena de 11 años de cárcel.
La jueza Lamela ya había procesado a Trapero por sedición y pertenencia a organización criminal, y ahora la Fiscalía lo sustituye por rebelión.
También piden 11 años por el mismo delito a Pere Soler, exdirector de los Mossos, y para César Puig, ex secretario general de Interior. A Teresa Laplana, intendente de los Mossos, por su parte la acusa solo de sedición y piden 4 años.
Los acusan de haber permitido la celebración del 1-O, y los considera «una pieza clave para, dentro del ámbito de sus respectivas competencias, impedir o dificultar gravemente el cumplimiento de las órdenes emanadas por los tribunales de justicia», con el objetivo de «llevar a cabo el plan secesionista ideado conjuntamente por los máximos responsables del Govern y del Parlament de la Generalitat así como por los líderes de los grupos parlamentarios y de las asociaciones independentistas».
La Fiscalía ha pedido hoy también 25 años para Oriol Junqueras, 17 para los Jordis y Carme Forcadell, y 16 para los exconsellers.
